Light Bean is rooted in nature and local craftsmanship. Designed by San Francisco-based industrial designer Katerina Kopytina, it reflects her shift from global hardware innovation to slow, place-based design.
Each piece is handcrafted in small batches from North American wood, individually numbered, and assembled in San Francisco.
It's a tribute to honest materials, local makers, and thoughtful production, inviting a slower, more intentional kind of living.
Meet the designer
Katerina Kopytina is an industrial designer with a passion for nature, experimentation and a community-based approach toward design.
After being an innovator in the hardware field for over a decade, she shifted her creative focus to local craftsmanship and designs that emerge from place, story, and the natural beauty of materials.
