Light Bean starts with a block of solid wood, sourced locally and responsibly. The first edition of a 100 pieces is made from North American oak and entirely crafted in the U.S. — each piece is numbered.

Light Bean is fitted with one of 3 bulb options — Cloud, Bubble, or Dusk — each casting its own style of light and shaping the mood of your space with its unique character.

The Cord

Last but not least, Light Bean offers a choice of 7 carefully curated cord colors, chosen for variety and ease of pairing.

With all options put together, there are 21 unique Light Bean styles, and many hundreds of pairing opportunities.

Katerina Kopytina is an industrial designer with a passion for nature, experimentation and a community-based approach toward design.

After being an innovator in the hardware field for over a decade, she shifted her creative focus to local craftsmanship and designs rooted in place, story, and the natural beauty of materials.
